KTM ADVENTURE RALLYE BACK FOR FIFTH ANNUAL EVENT IN NEW ZEALAND

KTM New Zealand is proud to announce the fifth annual KTM New Zealand Adventure Rallye: King Country 2020.

To be held Monday November 30th to Saturday December 5th 2020, the KTM ADVENTURE RALLYE returns to the middle of the North Island and is set to explore a region featuring stunning farmland, endless metal roads and special access to forestry and private property that all adventure riders dream of.

Five action packed days will see orange adventurers treated to a course set by local experts who are all KTM ADVENTURE RALLYE riders themselves and excited to showcase the stunning landscape they call their backyard.

It has been a tumultuous year, however adhering to Government advice and social gathering guidelines, rider numbers will be limited to 100 with the option to take an additional 20 if restrictions ease closer to the event date.

Kickstarting the KTM ADVENTURE RALLYE out of Cambridge, the first few days will feature flowing metal backroads, with some farm tracks thrown in for good fun – as well as fantastic private farmland Breakout routes for those seeking a thrilling challenge!

Continuing through the week are more epic sweeping metal backroads, with the inclusion of native bush tracks which are sure to make any adventure rider smile ear-to-ear. And as they say – save the best ‘til last – as Day 5 will feature exclusive forestry access arranged through Forest Trail Events.

Open to Orange Adventure Riders with the following eligible KTM bikes: 390 Adventure, 640, 690, 790, 790R, 950, 990, 1050, 1090, 1090R, 1190, 1190R, 1290 & 1290R models. The KTM ADVENTURE RALLYE is tailored to suit a wide range of rider abilities, from those in their first years of Adventure riding up to seasoned Adventure pros.

The aim on the KTM ADVENTURE RALLYE is to be suitable for all KTM adventure riders – therefore we offer two route options daily for riders: Main Route and Breakout Route. The Main Route will be shorter and less technically challenging, with the Breakout Routes offering advanced riders more challenging terrain.

The KTM ADVENTURE RALLYE is about offering a great experience to our orange adventure riders by taking all the hard work of planning a ride so you can truly enjoy your adventure.  With lead riders, sweep riders, GPS routes, luggage support, technical support, medical support, a backup vehicle, dinner included every night and a photographer and videographer along to capture the memories – we cover the details, so you can enjoy the good stuff.

Registrations open for the 2020 KTM New Zealand Adventure Rallye: King Country on Thursday September 17th at 6.00pm NZST.
